Where can I have my electronic component or appliance repaired?
Depending on the plan you purchase, you will have either In-Home or Mail-In service. In-Home means that dispatched personnel will come to your home and perform on-site repairs. Mail-In service means that you will send your product to one of the many factory authorized repair facilities nationwide.

Does it matter where I purchased my product?
It does not matter to us where you purchased your product. As long as the product has at least 90 days remaining on the manufacturer's warranty, you are eligible for our program.
How does the program work?
If your product malfunctions, you will receive a brand new replacement product or a top quality repair. The process is quick and hassle free.
For products priced under $500, we offer a one-year replacement program. Under the replacement plan, you do not receive a repair, but rather a new replacement product.
For products priced over $500, we offer a three-year or five-year program. The coverage period begins following the expiration of the shortest portion of the manufacturer's warranty. If your product malfunctions, you will contact the customer care center to obtain authorization for a repair. You will send your product to one of the factory authorized service centers for repair of your product. If your service plan is designated In-Home service, then dispatched personnel will come to your home and perform on-site repairs.

What are the additional benefits and services?
Our programs are the most comprehensive and simple to use warranty programs on the market. There are no deductibles or hidden charges. For your convenience, the operation center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and only factory authorized repair service centers are used. The plan is transferable and is fully insured by companies rated "A" (excellent) by A.M. Best & Company.

What repairs are covered by the extended service plan?
The programs cover all mechanical and electrical defects that would normally be covered by the original manufacturer's written warranty, unless otherwise stated in the Exclusions sections.
What repairs are excluded?
This program is extremely comprehensive. The only exclusions are basic, such as unauthorized repairs or modifications; theft, abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism or damage from environmental or weather conditions, a repair covered by a manufacturer's warranty, cosmetic or structural items and components never covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Almost everything else is covered.
When does the program begin and expire?
We offer a three-year and a five-year program. Coverage starts on the day you purchased your electronic product or home appliance and depending on the coverage you choose, the extended warranty will expire in three or five years from that date.

I understand you have a "satisfactory rating" with the Better Business Bureau. Is that correct?
As displayed on the BBB website, we have a "satisfactory record", a rating we have proudly maintained with the Bureau for the last several years. The BBB in New Jersey recently found it necessary to close some of its offices, including their Parsippany, New Jersey branch, of which we had been members with an exemplary reputation. The State of New Jersey made the decision to have one central office for the Better Business Bureau for the entire state, and years of membership in any other branch became null and void, thereby making each company applying to the newly created central office a "new member". Subsequently, the membership date displayed on the BBB website is the date we had to re-apply for membership.
Any person or company who states otherwise is providing you with false and misleading information, and we would suggest you contact the Council of the Better Business Bureau.

Does my product need to have any time left on the manufacturer’s warranty for it to be eligible for your extended warranty program?
Your electronic products or home appliances are eligible for our programs if they still have the following time remaining on the original manufacturer’s parts and labor warranty:
If the product came with a standard 1-year parts and labor warranty, there must be at least 90 days remaining for it to be eligible for our program.
If the product came with a standard 90-day parts and labor warranty, there must be at least 60 days remaining for it to be eligible for our program.
If you are unsure of the terms of your original warranty, ask one of our Warranty Consultants.

How does the Mail-In service work?
If your plan is not designated as an In-Home service program, then it is termed Mail-In service. The Mail-In Service is a very easy and hassle-free process. You simply notify UPS of the need to send your product for repair and they will come to your home or office to pick up for packaged product. If you do not have a box or packaging, these materials will be provided for you. The product is then shipped to a factory authorized repair facility that is approved by the manufacturer and equipped with the inventory, personnel and knowledge to assess the problem and repair it correctly and efficiently .
